Shristi Rani

Shristi Rani is a journalist having hands-on experience in digital newsrooms and long-form storytelling. Currently working as a trainee-sub editor at Zee Business, Shristi has gained newsroom experience through internships at various media organisations, including Chhattisgarh Tak (India Today Group), Outlook India, and Amar Ujala Web Services, where she contributed news articles, features, translations, and web stories. Her work spans beats such as business and finance, regional news, general-interest stories, lifestyle, and digital explainer formats.

Having completed her M.A. in Mass Communication from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, after a B.A. in Journalism & Mass Communication from Amity University, Shristi has developed strong editorial skills through academic training in media studies. Her areas of expertise include news writing, copy editing, translations (Hindi–English), and web story development, and she is also proficient in using digital tools like Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress, Audition, Canva, and WordPress CMS.

Shristi's authoritativeness reflects through the digital media projects she has done, like audio-visual documentaries, podcasts, and radio bulletins, during her academic times, besides published news stories, features, and translations.
