Hyundai unveils new IONIQ 6 and Sportier IONIQ 6 N Line

Hyundai Motor Company has officially unveiled the refreshed IONIQ 6 and its sportier N Line variant at the Seoul Mobility Show 2025. The updated models, designed under the "Pure Flow, Refined" concept, introduce a sleeker, more aerodynamic silhouette while enhancing performance and comfort.
Refined Design for the Electrified Streamliner
Building on the success of the original IONIQ 6, which debuted in 2022, the latest iteration features smoother curves, improved proportions, and a more fluid design. Hyundai describes the new styling approach as an evolution of the "Electrified Streamliner" concept, further refining every line for a simpler yet progressive aesthetic.
“IONIQ 6 has evolved from a single Electrified Streamliner into a lineup, each model expressing its own character while staying true to one refined vision,” said Simon Loasby, Senior Vice President and Head of Hyundai Design Center.

The facelifted IONIQ 6 introduces an elevated hood and an extended shark-nose front design, contributing to a streamlined profile. The previous-generation spoiler has been replaced with a more refined ducktail spoiler to maintain aerodynamic efficiency. Other exterior updates include a horizontal design theme that widens the stance and modern chrome accents on the rear bumper.
Inside, Hyundai continues its "Mindful Cocoon" concept, improving comfort and usability. The cabin features a redesigned steering wheel, premium door trim materials, an optimized center console layout, and an enlarged climate control display for better accessibility.
IONIQ 6 N Line: A sportier, more aggressive variant
Hyundai also introduced the IONIQ 6 N Line, a performance-inspired variant influenced by the RN22e Rolling Lab concept. This version features a more aggressive design, with wing-shaped front and rear bumpers, a prominent side sill, and a lower visual stance. Black detailing at the rear enhances its sporty appeal, while the two-dimensional Parametric Pixel lamps contribute to a modern digital aesthetic.
IONIQ 6 N Set for July unveiling
Alongside the new IONIQ 6 models, Hyundai teased the upcoming IONIQ 6 N, a high-performance electrified streamliner set to be unveiled in July 2025. The performance-oriented model is expected to bring advanced engineering and enhanced driving dynamics to Hyundai's growing electric vehicle lineup.
