Tata Motors Harrier Ultra, Safari Red Dark Diesel Versions Launched: Tata Motors on Tuesday, May 5, launched its popular SUVs Harrier and Safari in new two new variants — Ultra and Ultra Red Dark Edition with diesel engines in India. The starting price of the Harrier Ultra for the diesel manual variant is Rs 23,84,990 (ex-showroom, New Delhi), while the ex-showroom price of the Safari Ultra for the diesel manual variant starts at Rs 24,49,990.
According to the company, with the introduction of the Red Dark Diesel variants, the automaker is bringing together a more attractive design identity with a special focus on technology and performance inside the cabin.

At the centre of the cabin is a large 36.9 cm cinematic infotainment system by Harman, powered by Samsung Neo QLED. Complementing this is a Dolby Atmos-powered audio system, which elevates the in-car entertainment experience.
On the technology front, the SUVs come equipped with VisioneX E-IRVM, which integrates a built-in dashcam and DVR, adding an extra layer of safety and convenience. The VisionSync memory ORVMs with auto reverse dip function further enhance usability, especially during parking and tight manoeuvres.
Additional features such as the ClearView dual camera washer and built-in navigation with Mappls Auto aim to improve visibility and ease of travel, rounding off the package.
Yesterday, the automaker expanded its electric vehicle portfolio with the launch of the Curvv.ev SeriesX. According to the company, it introduced new variants aimed at buyers seeking long-range and feature-rich electric SUVs.
The newly launched SeriesX starts at a price of Rs 16.99 lakh and adds two variants to the lineup—Accomplished X 55 and Empowered X 55. The lineup is available in five colour options, including a newly introduced Nitro Crimson colour option.
The Curvv.ev SeriesX offers a company-claimed C75 test cycle range of 475 km and an ARAI-certified range of up to 502 km, while real-world driving conditions are expected to deliver around 400 km on a single charge.
The SUV-coupe styled EV also comes with a lifetime high-voltage (HV) battery warranty, enhancing its appeal among long-term buyers.
Recently, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles reported total sales of 59,701 units (including EVs) in April, which translates to a 31.1 per cent year-on-year jump. The monthly PV sales missed the mark compared to analysts' expectations. According to Zee Business research, Tata Motors PV was estimated to report PV sales of 65,000 units in the first month of FY27. In April 2025, the PV maker sold 45,532 units
