Add Zee Business as a Preferred Source

BHEL Q4FY26 Preview: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited is likely to report an improvement in its March quarter performance when it announces results on May 4, based on estimates from Zee Business Research.
Revenue for Q4FY26 is pegged at around Rs 11,005 crore, compared to Rs 8,993 crore in the same quarter last year. Operating profit (EBITDA) is seen at about Rs 1,035 crore versus Rs 832 crore earlier. Margins are expected to be slightly higher at 9.4 per cent from 9.2 per cent.
Net profit is estimated at Rs 687 crore, compared to Rs 504 crore a year ago.
For FY26, revenue is estimated at roughly Rs 32,350 crore, indicating an increase over the previous year.
The company is also expected to have secured new orders worth around Rs 75,000 crore during the year. Its total order book is seen at about Rs 2.4 lakh crore, which gives visibility for upcoming projects.




A large share of orders is expected to come from the power segment, with inflows of about Rs 59,000 crore. The industrial segment is also likely to contribute, with orders estimated at Rs 16,000 crore.
Management commentary on demand, execution timelines and input costs will be important. Market participants will also look for updates on margins and fresh orders. The focus will remain on how the company sustains execution and builds on its order pipeline going ahead.
