In Chepauk-Thiruvallikeni, DMK’s Udhayanidhi Stalin is leading with 28,349 votes, narrowly ahead of D. Selvam from TVK, who has secured 27,301 votes. The constituency continues to be viewed as a traditional DMK stronghold.

Votes are being counted, and the election results have not yet been released by the Election Commission of India (ECI).
In the ongoing trend of voting in the state of Tamil Nadu, it is evident that a new era of politics is beginning through the formation of TVK amidst the ongoing rivalry between the two political parties, DMK and AIADMK.
Joseph Vijay Chandrasekhar founded the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam political party as an attempt to step into the arena of politics in Tamil Nadu. This political party has proved to be a rising star due to its favorable trends of voting at the very outset. It should be noted here that it is the debut assembly elections that this political party has participated in.
The performance of both DMK and AIADMK is essential for the contest overall. Both parties have been active politically in the state of Tamil Nadu and continue to contest fiercely with each other in the emerging trends. Smaller parties such as PMK and Congress are also present in limited numbers based on early seat updates.
The counting process continues while people observe whether TVK will maintain its initial success or if established parties will recover lost support during the final vote count.
