Balkrishna Dividend: Largecap auto ancillary firm declares 200% payout—Have it in portfolio?

Balkrishna Dividend News: Mumbai-headquartered tyre manufacturer Balkrishna Industries (BALKRISIND) on Friday announced a dividend of Rs 4 per equity share -- a 200 per cent payout given the face value of Rs 2 per equity share. That marked the final dividend for FY26. 

The dividend is subject to shareholders' nod at the company's next annual general meeting (AGM). The company also posted its financial results for the quarter as well as year ended March 31.

The company reported a net profit of Rs 299.5 crore for the March quarter, a fall of 18.7 per cent on a year-on-year basis.

Its revenue, however, increased 6.6 per cent to Rs 2,932.8 crore, according to a regulatory filing.

Balkrishna's EBITDA margin -- a key measure of profitability -- contracted by 190 basis points to 22.9 per cent. 

Segment-wise updates 

Sales volumes in the company's core off-highway tyre (OHT) business stood at 3,17,356 MT, , driven by a good recovery in the second half of the financial year 2025-26, it mentioned in an investor presentation. 

The segment contributed about 91 per cent to its total revenue. 

The specialty carbon black segment -- contributing about 9 per cent to its revenue -- secured approvals for select grades across plastics, pressure pipes, power cables and inks. 

Earlier in the day, the stock rose 0.2 per cent to close at Rs 2,263.3 apiece on BSE.
