Ami Organics stock split: Multibagger pharma stock ended Thursday’s session on a muted noted even as the markets saw impressive gains amid improving global cues on trade tariff front. The benchmark Nifty 50 index settled higher by 1.77 per cent or 414.45 points at 23,851.65.
Not deviating from the topic, this pharma scrip will trade ex-split later this Friday (April 25, 2025). The stock split was announced on February 21 in the ratio of 1:2 i.e. existing 1 (one) equity share having face value of Rs. 10 each, into 2 equity shares having face value of Rs. 5/-each, fully paid up.
The rationale for the stock split as per the company’s filing with the exchanges, is to enhance liquidity of the equity shares of the company in the stock market and to encourage wider participation of small investors by making equity shares of the company more affordable.

Now, disclosing the stock it is Ami Organics. Also, record date based on which investors will be eligible for the split is April 25, 2025.
Change in stock price and investment value upon stock split
Furthermore, with this stock split, as is understood, there will an impact on the scrip’s stock price i.e. price will be reduced by half but the investment value will remain the same after the split.
Supposing you own 100 shares of the same and the stock’s price is Rs 500 before the stock split, then after the split, you will own 200 shares of the same in a 1:2 split—however, the stock price value shall also adjust to Rs 250 per share.

Additionally, the board of the company has approved the change in the company’s name to “Acutaas Chemicals Limited”.
Earlier in the month, the company commissioned its 10.8 MW DC solar power plant as part of its solar facility in Pratapnagar, Gujarat. This plant comprises two captive solar plants, each with a capacity of 5.4 MW.
